HOME PAST RECORDINGS MEMBERSHIP ABOUT US MEMBER LOCATOR	Sai Shyam Mohan’s introduction is as unique and grand as his playing. Born and brought up in USA, Sai Shyam was initiated into tabla at the age of 5 by Sri.K Prashant Paramjyothi, and is currently studying under Sri. Abhiman Kaushal, a foremost disciple of Ustad Shiekh Dawood Khan Saab. He has accompanied many prominent artists from India including Smt. Lakshmi Shankar, Pandit Madhav Gudi, Pandit Nayan Ghosh, Pandit Krishna Bhatt, Pandit Mukesh Desai, Sri. Debojyothi Bose, Sri. Gaurav Mazumdar, Pandit Nagaraj Havaldar and many local artists. He has had the privilege of receiving the New Jersey State Apprenticeship Award for two years in a row from 1999.  He is currently in his final year at Rutgers University.	.
